Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one, confidential Christian ministry, led by trained lay leaders who are committed to caring and supporting people experiencing a crises or need.  Stephen Ministers respond to Christ’s command, 'to love one another as I have loved you.”  They share, in a meaningful way, both the burdens and the joys of their care receivers, by listening, and maintaining confidentiality in their care-giving. For more information contact Karin F. Donaldson at karind@ljpres.org or call at 729.5516.

"Have you ever gone through a deep valley of pain?  Are you in that place right now or do you know someone who is?  That is what Stephen Ministry provides; compassionate, trustworthy, confidential Christian care.  Perhaps you could use a loving, confidential friend for a time, or perhaps you know someone who could.  Maybe you would like to be this kind of friend to another.  Whatever the need, Stephen Ministry would like to help."
